Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
The Short Version
We respect your privacy. We don’t sell your data. We don’t share your personal information with third parties. We don’t use tracking cookies, ad networks, or analytics that profile you. We only collect what we need to run the site, and we’re transparent about all of it.
Who We Are
MintyBricks (mintybricks.com) is operated by Park Street Post, Inc., a California-based company. We’re LEGO enthusiasts who built this site to share a daily curated news digest, editorial takes, deals, retirement tracking, and building techniques with fellow AFOLs.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at: hello@mintybricks.com (please put “Privacy” in the subject line so we can route it correctly).
What We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
Email correspondence. If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and for our records.
MintyBricks does not currently have user accounts, sign-up forms, email lists, comment sections, or community submission features. If we add any such feature in the future, this policy will be updated before it launches and we’ll explain what we collect and why.
Information Collected Automatically
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server automatically logs basic request information when you visit — IP address, browser user-agent, referring page, and pages requested. This is standard web-server behaviour used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging. Logs are rotated on a 30–90 day cycle.
Cloudflare. Our site sits behind Cloudflare for DNS and security. Cloudflare may collect technical information as described in their Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool. It does not track individual users, does not set cookies, and only returns anonymous, aggregate traffic data (page views, referrers, countries). No personal information is collected.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any user-profiling analytics service.
- We do not use advertising networks or ad-tracking pixels.
- We do not use social-media tracking pixels.
- We do not build profiles about you.
- We do not collect payment information — we don’t sell anything directly.
- We do not require an account or login to read any content on this site.
What We Will NEVER Do
Let us be absolutely clear:
- We will never sell your data. Not your email, not your IP address, not your browsing information. Never.
- We will never share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any similar purpose.
- We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails. If you email us, we’ll reply — that’s the extent of our email activity.
Cookies
The public-facing MintyBricks website does not set any cookies of its own. If you access the administrative area, a session cookie is set for authentication purposes only and is not used for tracking. Cloudflare may set its own functional cookies for security; these are covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Amazon Associates
MintyBricks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. When you click an Amazon link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Amazon may use cookies to track these referrals. This is governed by Amazon’s Privacy Notice. We do not have access to any personal information about your Amazon purchases — we only see aggregated sales data (e.g., “three people bought a set through our links today”).
Affiliate income is the only monetisation on this site. We do not run ads, sell products directly, or have any other revenue streams.
Data Retention
- Email correspondence: retained for our records unless you request deletion.
- Server logs: automatically rotated per standard server configuration (typically 30–90 days).
- Administrative session cookies: expire after two hours of inactivity.
Your Rights
Because we collect very little personal information, most privacy rights have limited scope here. That said, you have the right to:
- Access. Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Correction. Request that we correct any inaccurate information.
- Deletion. Request that we delete email correspondence and any other personal data we hold.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mintybricks.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy
MintyBricks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because MintyBricks has no account, submission, or sign-up features, there is no mechanism by which a child could submit personal data to us. If you believe a child under 13 has somehow sent us personal information, please contact us at hello@mintybricks.com and we will delete it.
International Users
MintyBricks is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the site from outside the US, please be aware that any information you choose to send us may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the site, you consent to this transfer.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom: we process the minimal data described above on the basis of legitimate interest (operating the website). You have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures, including HTTPS encryption for all site traffic, Cloudflare security services, bcrypt-hashed administrative credentials, and restricted access to server-side data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect the little information we hold, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
The site loads a small number of third-party resources:
- Cloudflare — DNS, security, and privacy-first analytics (no tracking cookies).
- Google Fonts — web fonts (Outfit, DM Sans). Google may log font requests; see their font privacy FAQ.
- YouTube (img.youtube.com) — video thumbnails shown alongside attributed YouTube content.
- Brickset (images.brickset.com) — set images for deals and retirement tracking.
- LEGO.com (lego.com) — official set images on some briefs.
Our site also contains links to other websites (Amazon, LEGO.com, news sources, YouTube channels, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites. We encourage you to review their policies.
App Privacy
For privacy information about the Fig Find iOS app, please see the Fig Find Privacy Policy. Short version: Fig Find collects no data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we’ll also post a notice on the homepage.
